Struggling to find the perfect gift for the person who has it all? We have the solution, a charitable donation. We have brought four organizations into the studio to offer gift ideas that touch many lives, open many hearts and are as perfect to give as they are to receive. Charley’s Fund, directing money into the hands of researchers who have the best shot at developing a treatment or cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Developed by Charley’s parents, this fund’s goal is to cure DMD in time to save their son’s life and the lives of thousands of children like him. Guest: Benjamin Seckler, President Women’s Fund of Western Massachusetts, Women give. Women receive. This twin tenet is the Women’s Fund’s guiding star as it navigates a new course for women and girls in western Massachusetts. Providing educational grants and social reform, the Women’s Fund continues to support women and girls through all phases of life. Guests: Maria Sirois and Shirley Edgerton, Board of Directors.

Elizabeth Freeman Center, is dedicated to helping thousands of women, men and children in western Massachusetts and provides safe houses, support and care for victims of domestic violence and abuse. 1 800 401-2425 or 413 499-2425 Guest: Deborah Hammer-Philips, Executive Director. Best Friends, provides shelters and foster care for thousands of animals which have found themselves without homes. Most recently, Best Friends has set up a temporary shelter in Mississippi to aid in Hurricane Katrina’s displaced animal population.
